Guest Payment Operator - German speaking

Dual.Concept S.r.l., a training and employment company of AHK Italien (accredited by M.L.P.S. - ANPAL N. 145/2022), on behalf of a client company, is looking for a Cashier Operator - German speaking.

What to expect:

As a Cashier Operator, you will manage all operations related to onboard cash payments by Guests in accordance with Company procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collecting cash deposits and payments for shipboard accounts settled in cash and delivering it to the Administrative Department to activate Guests' accounts.
• Prints Costa Cards and related materials and organizes them to ensure that all material is ready for delivery.
• Collects and sorts purchase Guest checks to assure they are ready to be verified.
• Collects and verifies all payments to ensure that no Guest leaves without paying on disembarkation day.
• Manages and addresses all problems related to payments and cash collection, and, when needed, is in charge of operations regarding closure of Guest account/main courante/printing of bills.
• Takes an active part in a work environment that supports a successful safety culture and follows safety policy and procedures.

Requirements:

The Onboard Information department is looking for a passionate and dedicated candidate to join their team! The requirements for this job are:

• Secondary school diploma.
• Previous experience in a similar position is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting is a plus.
• Client-oriented attitude.
• Computer literate.
• English knowledge B2.
• German knowledge B1.
