GREEN POWER PROJECT ENGINEER

The Project Engineer is responsible of the execution of the engineering of the assigned Green Power projects (solar, wind and storage battery).

He/She coordinates all the technical engineering activities of the project and is responsible of delivering the engineering according to the schedule.

He/She manages the engineering project team to achieve the project goals and represents the technical focal point of the company towards the Client

He/She is involved as main technical focal point during the offer phase, in particular for the lessons learned capitalized during previous projects in the country.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• To prepare and to discuss with the Operation manager, Project Manager, the Proposal Manager, the Procurement Manager, the Construction Manager and the Project Control Manager the project execution strategy (also during the proposal phase) and to guarantee its application during its whole life period.
• To define and to attain to, while coordinating and cooperating with the Project Leaders, the procedures, the guidelines, and the technical project’s standards.
• To adopt technical solutions, which optimize the project’s costs in accordance with the contract’s technical requirements.
• To ensure the overall technical co-ordination system, among the various engineering development project centers, including the engineering developed by Vendors (Subcontractors, Partners, etc.)
• To manage, the budget manhours of the engineering activities.
• To check and manage the project amendments, focusing on minimizing project execution’s delays and costs.
• To participate to the project’s definition schedule, while involving the Project Leaders and guaranteeing total congruence and feasibility.
• To participate in variation orders/claims preparation
• To guarantee the technical interface with the Client, concerning all the project’s issues which can arise and can be significant, in terms of project’s timing realization and in terms of project’s costs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5/8 years of experience in a similar role and in a similar business
• Mandatory Experience in Green power projects solar, wind and storage battery)
• Team working capabilities
• Work planning, scheduling and monitoring
• Fluent English
• Availability to travel abroad for missions related to technical issues or meetings with Authorities/Client
