The role is based in Italy.

Primary purpose of the role:

Provide daily R&M IT support: On-site and remote assistance to CEVA site users, including diagnosis and resolution of first level software errors, and management of hardware malfunctions.

Configure new software and devices according to company policies: desktop, laptop, printers, labels, radio frequency terminal and cellphone.

Knowledge, adaption & deployment of IT CEVA standards at all possible levels.

POC for competence area on local connectivity problems.

POC for competence area on implementation projects.

POC for competence area on IT business requests.

Start the onboarding process from an IT perspective, giving knowledge and access to company tools & best practices.

Verify & activate the company's backup solution.

Manage inventory.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Fault Diagnosis and effective management of Network Devices
2. Fault Diagnosis and effective management of Printing Devices
3. Fault Diagnosis and effective management of Desktop & Laptop PCs
4. Fault resolution and coordination with global teams of issues affecting the O365 environment for users
5. Ensure that company information and data are secure by applying the proper security and redundancy policies either at storage or network level
6. Collaborate in global/European infrastructure-related projects
7. Track, control, and inventory all assets involved or related to infrastructure
8. Elaborate and maintain complete documentation of infrastructure at physical and logical levels
9. Share knowledge with teammates and give training to technicians belonging to Support on Site and ServiceDesk team
10. Coordinate activities involving multiple IT expertise and suppliers, enhancing local/global supplier relations
11. Train and educate users on proper IT HW asset usage, best practices, and general maintenance

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Degree level or equivalent
• General IT knowledge

• Experience of operating in a large company or recognized IT consultancy advantageous
• Experience of actively managing internal and external customers and suppliers
