We are looking for a General Ledger Specialist.

In this General Ledger Specialist role you will:

1. Contribute to maintain and respect the policy of accounting standards and financial policies applied by Group defined by Head of Accounting;
2. Define, in accordance with Head of Accounting, practice and processes to collect all the relevant information in order to assure and comply with a timely and accurate posting;
3. Prepare accruals for month and year-end;
4. Support in preparation of the financial statements for statutory filing;
5. Reconcile accounts between IFRS and Statutory ledger;
6. Ensure that account reconciliation for month-end for the assigned tasks are prepared in due time;
7. Support the Head of Accounting in Accounting and IFRS related matters and audit related matters (external and internal).

What we need from you:

1. Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent;
2. 2-4 years of experience in auditing and/or accounting role;
3. IFRS knowledge and understanding of principles;
4. Good knowledge of Italian statutory and tax requirements;
5. Good level of English;
6. Knowledge of country fiscal laws (mainly VAT regimes) considered a plus.
