General Accounting & Reporting Specialist

Position:

Based in Rome, the resource must support the team for the daily General Accounting and Reporting activities, including month-end closing, ensuring the respect of the deadlines, and working closely with the Accounting & Management Control.

The resource must support the team also on process innovation and enhancements, giving a relevant contribution on the new Finance Projects.

Job responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor the resource will be in charge of:

• Finalization of the annual Statutory Financial Statements of the Italian entities, including the Holding Company
• Communication flows and corporate activities with the Subsidiaries
• Month-end closing process and reporting, including the preparation of IFRS reporting of the Italian entities
• Recurring overview and analysis of the Trial Balance
• Participation to the annual Budget process for the Italian Entities and interim Forecasting
• Support for the State Incentives application and development
• Assistance in the Cash Flow management in collaboration with the Treasury Team
• Assistance in the preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with external auditors
• Assistance in the General Accounting processes and Fixed Assets WW Core Model, including support to the other Group Companies
• Support to the Management on the Due Diligence activities.
• Other Finance Special Project as assigned

Profile:

• Master’s/bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting position, Tax consultancy, Audit or Finance control position within a fast paced and dynamic business environment
• Highly adapt in technology: SAP4Hana or other ERP, Reporting and Data analysis tools (e.g. SAP analytics, Business Objects, or similar tools)
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, High skills in PowerPoint; PowerBI skills will be a plus.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required
• Passionate & knowledgeable of retail, fashion and luxury sector
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in preparing clear, concise and accurate information
• Experience in auditing or tax consultancy will be a plus
• Team working attitude
