The PES Milan team is seeking a motivated Technical Intern for Analog Design to provide support to our Personal Electronics Solutions located in Milan, Italy.

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma + 5, Last year of Master Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics

ADI’s Personal Electronics Solutions (PES) business has been a key provider of high-volume consumer silicon solutions for the last decade, developing key products that enable highly precise human interpretation and sensory assistance. As part of a long sustainable growth plan, we are expanding our team, supporting the development of highly integrated power solutions and PMICs. PES BU will present the successful candidate a great opportunity for continuous career development as part of a highly motivated and supportive worldwide engineering team.

Personal Electronics Solutions (PES) Milan Team is primarily focused on PMIC and hybrid mixed-signal / power developments, for High-End / High-Volume electronic devices, such as Smartphones, Tablets and Consumer Accessories. PES Milan Team is expanding its focus in Power Solutions, across a broad range of IC engineering profiles and levels of experience, including Analog Designers, Digital Designers and Firmware Engineers.

Analog Devices is proposing a 6-months internship in the Milan design center, Italy. The purpose of the internship is developing new sub-IPs and features for our state-of-the-art Battery Chargers, USB-C’s, and Battery Fuel Gauge IPs and/or our custom Power Management ICs, using proprietary high-performance technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (Liceo Scientifico, ITIS or equivalent) and attending University to get MS/BS degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Analog Design basics is required
  • High motivation and good analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good English language skills (reading/writing)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Cadence Schematic Entry tool
  • Proven interest in Analog Design

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Design and simulation of Analog circuits
  • Literature and datasheet analysis
  • Physical layout supervision
  • Production and maintenance of Design Reviews, documentation
  • Analysis of production data
