Job Description

We are seeking a talented Sports Content Editor to join our team and help produce high-quality sports betting content. In this role, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and optimizing content for various sports betting topics, ensuring it meets SEO standards and engages our audience. You’ll also collaborate with writers and other team members to deliver informative, entertaining, and accurate content across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Creating quality sports betting content that informs and entertains our readers
• Writing, editing and publishing a variety of sports content on our WordPress CMS to a high standard
• Editing and optimizing existing pages according to SEO guidelines
• Build content briefs across a range of topics and markets with thorough keyword and competitor analysis.
• Daily management of in-house or freelance writers, setting deadlines, giving feedback and setting tasks.
• Ad hoc editing tasks as required to support the success of our projects
• Collaborating with other members of the content team to ensure a steady flow of content

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years of professional experience in sports content writing and editing.
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Good command of English and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner for a general audience
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Ahrefs and other SEO tools
• A good understanding of SEO, and how to write for the web
• Experience working with WordPress CMS
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and switching to priority tasks as required
