The 7Pines Resort Sardinia is looking for a Front Office Manager:


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Trains, cross–trains, and retrains all front office personnel.
  2. Participates in the selection of front office personnel.
  3. Supervises workload during shifts.
  4. Evaluates the job performance of each front office employee.
  5. Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  6. Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
  7. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
  8. Works within the allocated budget for the front office.
  9. Checks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift.
  10. Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel.
  11. Prepares revenue and occupancy forecasting.
  12. Ensures that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other employees.
  13. Monitors all V.I.P.’s, special guests, and requests.
  14. Reviews daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit.
  15. Reviews Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis.
  16. Maintains an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports, and tracking logs.
  17. Performs other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

EDUCATION:

University degree. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand Italian and English.

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years' experience supervising hotel reception, experience in cash management, accounting procedures, and administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge of the Hyatt world and its general policies.
