Freelance Content Writer - Italian Market for Ulla Popken

We’re looking for a skilled Italian speaking content writer to join us as a freelancer and support our team in creating engaging marketing and product texts for our curvy fashion e-commerce site. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion and has a solid understanding of the plus-size market.

1. Write marketing content that resonates with our target audience and highlights the unique features of our garments.

2. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and is optimised for web use.

3. Review and enhance landing pages, newsletters, and social media posts.

4. Reply to customer reviews on TrustPilot and liaise with customer care when necessary.

5. Respond to comments on social media (community management).

1. Your writing skills in the Italian language are excellent and you have proven experience in content writing (copywriting) within the fashion industry.

2. You are a native Italian speaker with very good knowledge in English.

3. You have a feeling for the right tone of voice and how to communicate within fashion in a prominent way.

4. You have in-depth knowledge of Italian promotional regulations, in particular:

   • OMNIBUS rules (e.g. discounted prices must clearly show the lowest price applied in the last 30 days).
   • Sales regulations (e.g. no discounts allowed in the month preceding the official sales period, in compliance with regional promotional sale laws).
   • Contest/giveaway rules (e.g. official regulation must be filed and validated by a notary).

5. You are familiar with GDPR regulations to ensure secure and lawful handling of customer data.

6. You are able to work independently and meet deadlines.

7. You value details and are aware of current trends.

1. A valid VAT number (Partita IVA) is required.

2. Time commitment: to be defined – approx 1h per day, with the possibility to extend to 2h.
