Job Description:

Fasten Seat Belt is an event agency specialized in working with clients in the fashion and luxury industry, creating unique events and experiences.

We are looking for a freelance Architect/Set Designer to collaborate with our team for the design and creation of sets for high-profile fashion shows. The ideal candidate will combine architectural expertise with a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the creative director and the creative team
2. Design sets, stages, and environments that enhance the runway experience.
3. Create detailed drawings and 3D models of set designs
4. Coordinate with the production team, including lighting, sound, and technical crews, to ensure designs are feasible and effectively executed.
5. Oversee the construction and installation of the set, ensuring quality, budget, and time constraints are met.

Qualifications and skills:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Set Design, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in set design for fashion shows, events, or related creative fields.
3. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
4. Excellent knowledge of materials, construction methods, and the technical aspects of set design.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
6. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing demands.
8. Fluency in English and Italian; French language will be considered a plus.
9. Experience in large-scale event design and execution.
