Responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling and giving maximum priority to Depot Maintenance activities.
- Reporting Depot maintenance activities status and follow up.
- Keeping Production teams informed about scheduled time slots.
- Acting as an interface between maintenance team leaders, retrofit teams, engineering teams, and external company teams.
- Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities on all trains in the workshop.
- Maintaining an overview of crucial spare parts availability.
- Being informed about workshop infrastructure status, especially regarding needed special tools.
- Checking production team workload to ensure optimal saturation.
- Managing issues with extraordinary planning meetings if required.
- Verifying compliance with planned time slots for all ordinary maintenance train cycles.
- Verifying compliance with scheduled departure and arrival times in Nola Depot.
- Translating production and commercial service issues within working orders.
- Ensuring that all updated planning information is communicated in real-time within the workshop.
- Attending daily planning meetings (8:30 mandatory and 16:30 when required).
- Managing the whiteboards in the workshop for scheduled maintenance slots.
- Handling special requests from project teams and scheduling them using the SAP system.
- Reporting all cumulated delays and analyzing root causes.
- Interfacing with the Supply Chain team to ensure needed spare parts availability.
- Using Indus evaluation KPI to optimize production workload.
- Attending extraordinary planning meetings to address contingencies.
- Reporting special activities status with figures, graphs, and Gantt charts.
- Creating and releasing notifications and service orders related to corrective and preventive activities.
- Updating communication equipment information necessary for the Depot.
Minimum Requirements
- Engineering degree or professional level qualifications in technical areas.
- Experience in process supervision/management.
- Work experience in a process/production environment.
- Railways and train system knowledge is preferred.
- Maintenance process knowledge is required.
- Good IT skills, especially in SAP (CS/PM modules) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to make decisions and set priorities.
- Effective communication skills.
