The Field Technical Engineer (CRM) is responsible for promoting Abbott’s CRM product lines by providing professional and technical support to medical and sales personnel. This role ensures that all technical inquiries from the field or internal sources are addressed promptly and reported to the relevant authorities within Abbott. The primary focus is to attend implants, follow-ups, and support issues related to high and low voltage stimulation devices.
2. Roles & Responsibilities
Provide technical support and assistance nationwide to the sales force and physicians during implants and follow-ups.
Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers on product usage.
Support physicians during the enrollment and follow-up phases of clinical studies.
Assist Regional Sales Managers, FTE Coordinator, and Clinical Department with additional tasks and projects.
Adopt a proactive, solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.
Communicate feedback and information on supported implants/procedures promptly.
Perform booth duty as required.
Ensure compliance with all Abbott Quality Procedures.
3. Reporting
Produce concise market and competitor reports for the Sales Force, FTE Coordinator, and Regional Sales Managers.
Provide marketing with information on competitors’ devices.
4. Education & Competencies
Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and verbal.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Preferably 1-2 years of experience in similar technical support roles.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills.
5. Geography
Focus on the Nordest region, particularly Veneto. Willingness to fully relocate to this area is required.
