Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Field Service Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. Person will be hired on the Naples site (Italy), but travel to northern Italy will be required.

Accountabilities

1. Perform on site corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with the contractual KPIs
2. Provide on-site support to Customer Maintenance personnel
3. Monitor, analyse and report on site system performance
4. Perform first level of troubleshooting on site in case of issues
5. Download logs and dump files from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysis
6. Perform on-site maintenance task ensuring the application of OHS and HSMS rules
7. Ensure the availability of local stock and repair process activation
8. Ensure the technical reporting issuing to the customer on-site maintenance and system performance
9. Analyse and provide solutions to project technical issues (critical failures of equipment, obsolescence...)
10. Activate escalation process to ENG or DEV department in case of major failure
11. Keep up to date the technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures
12. Ensure the hand-over between Commissioning and Maintenance

Education/Qualifications

High School diploma or degree in Electronics/Electrotechnics.
