Field Service Engineer for Torino area

Then read on! We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for taking care of service business in a specific area assigned to him. This position is part of the Life Sciences Service Department office located in Milano’s area.

The person will be located in Torino area and will serve mainly the northwest part of Italy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Respond to customer support calls and provide field support within your assigned territory, escalating complex issues as required to ensure a timely fix.
2. Diagnose system failures and determine the most cost-effective resolution.
3. Ensure Preventative Maintenance Inspections and modifications are completed within the specified time frames.
4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, debriefing and reports, and maintain accurate car inventory.

The essential requirements for the job include:

1. High school diploma or university degree in electronic engineering or similar.
2. 3-5 years of experience in high-tech research instruments service.
3. Ability to travel 90% of the time, including overnight, within northwest of Italy and for training purposes in Europe.
4. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
5. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30kg and possess good manual skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

1. Centrifugation, Automation, Flow Cytometry repair instruments.
