The Food & Water (F&W) division is looking for a Field Sales Engineer in Food System Business Unit (FOS BU) for Evaporation solutions in Italy, based in Monza.

Management Level: Individual contributor

Reporting to: Bu Manager Food System Adriatic

What about the job

The candidate will drive the sales activities in the BU Food Systems for the Evaporation market unit, promoting both Systems (Evaporators, Aroma recovery, Retrofit components) and Solutions (complete and/or partial concentration lines).

She/He will be responsible for:

  • Promoting, developing, and ensuring sales results
  • Being the F&W division referent for Evaporation technology solutions
  • Collaborating with the central technology team based in Søborg/Copenhagen (DK) and local Sales Company organization: defining technical solutions, supporting local quotations, defining sales prices, and leading the negotiation process with customers
  • Cooperating and supporting the Customer Care and Project Management team during project execution for an excellent customer experience
  • Availability to travel in Italy 50% of working time
  • Setting solid and durable relationships between Industry Stakeholders and Alfa Laval Adriatic at any organizational level

What you know

Priority will be given to:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Energetic preferred)
  • B driving license
  • 5 years of previous work experience in sales
  • 3 years of previous work experience in the food processing industry
  • Business knowledge of English, spoken and written
  • Italian knowledge mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and the Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
