The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) based in Turin for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. This position is part of the European Implementation Team and as FAS you will be located in Italy supporting our local and European customers and impacting directly patients' health and overall well-being.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team, supported with a clear Development Pathway program.
2. Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in key projects to deliver successful installations for our Customers that meet their requirements and that of our company.
3. Provide excellent professional support and training to Beckman Coulter’s customers.
4. Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, resolve issues to deliver a high-quality Customer Experience.
5. Develop commercial awareness through cross-functional support of the business to increase growth opportunities and demonstrate our pioneering innovation solutions and new products for the market.

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. University Scientific degree + minimum 1 year of experience in chemical chemistry and immunoassays.
2. Fluent in Italian and English; a third European language would be a strong plus.
3. Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.
4. Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.
5. Ability to work flexible hours as per the business needs.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

1. Requirement to travel within the Italian and European region (up to 90%, 70% Italy and 20% Europe) to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays (up to 50%) as needed.
2. Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.
