Key Responsibilities:

Led and managed the engineering department, overseeing all maintenance, repair, and improvement projects for the country club’s facilities, including the clubhouse, pools, restaurants, and other amenities.
Develop and execute a strategic maintenance plan to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety across all engineering functions.
Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of engineers, technicians, and housekeepers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Manage the budgeting process for engineering operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining top-tier service levels.
Collaborate with club leadership to ensure all engineering efforts align with the overall goals and objectives of the country club.
Maintain compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Oversee capital improvement projects and coordinate with external contractors, architects, and vendors when necessary.
Implement energy-efficient practices and sustainable initiatives to enhance the club's operations and reduce environmental impact.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in engineering management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in hospitality, leisure, or country club setting.
Strong technical knowledge in building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead large-scale repairs and renovations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, club management, and vendors.
A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service in a luxury environment.
A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards, with active participation in Safety Committee meetings.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
