Key Responsibilities:
  • Led and managed the engineering department, overseeing all maintenance, repair, and improvement projects for the country club’s facilities, including the clubhouse, pools, restaurants, and other amenities.
  • Develop and execute a strategic maintenance plan to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety across all engineering functions.
  • Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of engineers, technicians, and housekeepers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Manage the budgeting process for engineering operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining top-tier service levels.
  • Collaborate with club leadership to ensure all engineering efforts align with the overall goals and objectives of the country club.
  • Maintain compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects and coordinate with external contractors, architects, and vendors when necessary.
  • Implement energy-efficient practices and sustainable initiatives to enhance the club's operations and reduce environmental impact.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in engineering management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in hospitality, leisure, or country club setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge in building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead large-scale repairs and renovations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, club management, and vendors.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service in a luxury environment.
  • A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards, with active participation in Safety Committee meetings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
