We are looking for an Export Sales Manager for an important company in the rubber and plastics sector. The candidate will report to the Global Sales Director and will be responsible for consolidating and further developing the company's presence abroad by managing existing clients, increasing business volume with them, seeking new clients, and opening new markets, particularly in the EU, USA, and China.

Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Defining and implementing export strategies to expand the company's international presence, in agreement with management.
  2. Managing and retaining the assigned client portfolio.
  3. Analyzing the market, trends, prospects, and competition to identify new opportunities.
  4. Formulating and negotiating commercial proposals.
  5. Monitoring sales performance and applying corrective actions where necessary.
  6. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop targeted and effective promotional campaigns for brand visibility.
  7. Participating in trade fairs and international events; networking.
  8. Collaborating with the back office to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.

The ideal candidate has an educational background and experience in Economics, International Trade, or similar fields, with previous experience in the role, preferably in the high-pressure sector, dosing pumps, rubber plastics, or related sectors. A proactive approach to foreign markets and customs regulations is required, along with a good command of the English language (part of the interview will be conducted in English) and Spanish (which will also be tested), as well as proficiency in the main IT tools. Availability for travel 50-60% of total working time is necessary.

Key qualities include excellent relational skills, goal orientation, analytical capabilities, organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, and flexibility. A company car is not provided. Expense reimbursement will be on a per-item basis.

The company is looking to form a cohesive team ready to face market challenges; the approach to mutual listening is very open. As this is a sales position, a fixed and variable compensation structure will be discussed during the interview. A propensity for sales will be highly valued.
