Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to support the Manager in implementing Event & PR activities for Milano Fashion & Milano Design School.

In this role, the Event & PR Supervisor is in charge of supporting the development of on-site activities, organizing promotional and institutional events, implementing Istituto Marangoni PR strategy, and increasing brand visibility under the supervision of the Manager.

Key Purpose of the Job

The Event & PR Supervisor supports the Manager in organizing events, locations, and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers.

• To plan and organize internal and external School events in all its phases;
• To support the Manager in designing events in all its elements – supporting in choosing the right locations, logistics, coordinating catering and fittings, and producing materials and invites for the event;
• To plan and implement an effective communication strategy regarding the event and create reports;
• To support the Manager in realizing event concepts;
• To manage and update the contacts database;
• To supervise and monitor the success of events;
• To coordinate with the procurement office;
• To coordinate external relations networks;
• To monitor and analyze PR results, also in terms of investment;
• To leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within off & online media;
• To work in synergy with the Social Media team.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of events and/or PR experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proactive, strongly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
