Environmental and Human Health Risk Assessor

  • Full-time

Location: Milan or Rome, Italy, Europe

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in site characterisation and remediation, and human health and environmental risk assessment for contaminated sites. You will join our Milan or Rome Office

As our new risk assessor, you will be part of our successful team composed of geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative and empowering culture.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Design of site investigations and remediation;
  • Support on field data collection;
  • Data analysis and elaboration;
  • Human health and environmental risk assessment;
  • Proposal and reporting in Italian or English language.

  • Candidates should have a Master's level university degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar;
  • Relevant experience in site characterisation and remediation, as well as human health and environmental risk assessment for contaminated sites;
  • Ideally proficient user of Risk-net and ArcGIS;
  • Experience of field work and data analysis;
  • Ability to define a site conceptual model;
  • Capable of producing clear and concise written documents in Italian (mother tongue);
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
