ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager for a client company to lead the planning, development, installation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. This role ensures that all installations operate efficiently, meeting production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Planning, Design & Development of Machinery and Installations
• Develop and manage the budget and investment plan for engineering projects.
• Assign and coordinate project responsibilities within the engineering team.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and follow-up of projects to align with production schedules.
• Manage technical documentation and archives for new equipment and modifications.
• Prepare and oversee the annual budget and MBP Capex list.
• Manage fund approvals and ensure Capex tool updates.
• Monitor Capex-related KPIs, including expenditure tracking, approval status, and purchase orders.
• Plan and coordinate new machinery installations, managing internal resources and external contractors.
• Foster and promote key cultural values within the Engineering & Maintenance team, including: Kaizen Spirit, Safety First, Open & Direct Communication

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree: Engineering (High Degree required)
• 5+ years in engineering roles
• 3+ years in management positions
• Advanced knowledge of installation design, project management, and safety policies
• Expertise in electricity, electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Deep understanding of production processes, machinery, and plant installations
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
