Embroidery Technician

The Embroidery Technician is responsible for optimizing and streamlining the embroidery production process, ensuring the highest quality of embroidered products, and integrating innovative techniques into our manufacturing workflow. This role acts as a connection between the Embroiderers and the Producers and combines a deep understanding of embroidery processes, with knowledge in production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current embroidery processes and identify areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAD, Industrialization, Pattern Making office) to refine embroidery procedures and workflows.
• Analyze the embroidered items of the collections and find solutions to minimize waste and enhance productivity without compromising quality.
• Supervise production runs and conduct inspections at various stages to ensure adherence to specifications, working closely with both the Embroiderers and the Producers.
• Ensure on time production progress, cooperating with the Production team.
• Propose and test new methods that may improve product outcomes or reduce costs during the mass production phase, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Ensure that embroideries maintain aesthetic integrity while being adapted for mass production.
• Establish rigorous quality control standards specific to embroidered items.
• Compile reports on quality metrics and industrialization and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Cooperate with the Logistic team to comply with Custom regulations and sustainability standards.
• Provide clear instructions and feedback throughout the product development cycle.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies in embroidery industrialization.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial embroidery setting.
• Availability to travel to foreign and Italian suppliers.
• Knowledge about different types of fabrics and their behavior under embroidery applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills along with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently when required.
• Good command of English and Italian language.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
