The Electrical Design Engineer - String Testing oversees the Electrical design activity for assigned projects inside the String Test cell. In daily work, He/she delivers (executes and controls) all project documentation, such as drawings/job documents/specifications, relative to testing electrical systems. He/she is also responsible for the technical supervision of Electrical works during the commissioning phase on the field.

In his mission, He/she also supports #Decarbonization initiatives following programs and promoting #Digitalization of design activities, methodology, and procedures.

As Electrical Design Engineer - String Testing you will be responsible for:

• Executing design, analysis, or technical evaluation using solid engineering principles adhering to business standards and product requirements.
• Executing and controlling documents/purchase specifications/drawings: Equipment Functional Design Specification; Equipment Design Requirement List; Equipment Data Sheet; Electrical Wiring diagram; Cabinet Layouts.
• Performing technical selection of electrical items (e.g., Electrical MV generators, Electrical MV motor, MV Variable Speed Drive Systems).
• Formulating functional purchase specifications/data sheets and closing technical alignment of supplier technical proposals.
• Managing technical documentation during the engineering development phase following up with suppliers and customers up to finalization.
• Assuring that technical documentation is issued according to project planning schedule.
• Providing Electrical System technical assistance and timely communications on significant issues coming from the field commissioning phase.
• Assuring that Lesson Learned are captured in the assigned design.
• Participating in assigned team groups to address organizational initiatives/improvement programs and acting as owner/presenter in technical reviews.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering subjects and 3-4 years of related experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Show ability to manage and oversee multiple projects/activities with high intensity.
• Show ability to plan and lead cross-functional programs.
• Be an experienced problem solver, with an analytical approach identifying root causes and implementing improvement solutions.
• Display good knowledge of Electrical system integration for Turbo-machinery skid & commissioning operations; this is considered a plus.
• Be fluent in English and Italian and be able to work in the EU.
