Electrical Commissioning Superintendent

We are looking for Electrical Commissioning Superintendent for a FPSO project in CHINA.

Job Purpose: To manage a team of supervisors and commissioning engineers for the commissioning and start-up of new FPSO facilities, ensuring that commissioning activities for the assigned areas/units proceed safely, efficiently, and to the satisfaction of all parties.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring all activities carried out by the contractors are in compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
2. Ensuring all works are properly executed in compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and standards.
3. Respecting project time targets for commissioning.
4. Managing a team of supervisors, assigning tasks, and monitoring execution and progress.

Key Activities:

1. Applying, in close coordination with the Commissioning Manager, the commissioning strategy to deliver the project tasks.
2. Interface and coordinate with Construction and MC teams in the identification and resolution of Punches.
3. Coordinate the commissioning activities for the assigned areas/units.
4. Ensuring that contractors' duties are performed by competent and experienced personnel and in sufficient numbers, granting work progress monitoring and issuance of the related support documentation.
5. Promptly advising the Commissioning Manager of any areas of concern.
6. Ensure the review of the contractors' documentation (e.g., technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.).
7. Ensure technical support to the Commissioning Manager during the evaluation of any deviations/variations or change order requests issued by contractors.

Education:

1. Engineering/technical degree (preferred).
2. Technical diploma.

Training and Courses (preferred, not mandatory):

1. Asset Integrity Management System
2. ATEX
3. HSE Management in upstream operations
4. Combined Survival & Rescue (BOSIET certification)

1. Commissioning Plan and Monitoring
2. Commissioning Works and Testing
3. Construction Plan and Monitoring
4. Plant/Facilities Start-up and Handover
5. Basic Knowledge from other Professional Areas
6. Project Configuration (Development Project Scope Definition)
7. Project Monitoring and Controlling (Change Management)
8. HSE Principles and Systems
9. Production & Logistics Specific knowledge

Requested Previous Commissioning Experiences Regarding the Following:

1. HV/MV electrical systems
2. Power Management System (PMS)
3. Turbogenerator commissioning and Synchronization
4. Lead and supervise LOTO application
