Local Buyer for Direct Materials EPG

European Pizza Group (E.P.G.) is a Joint Venture between the biggest Food company worldwide, Nestlé, and Equity Fund PAI partners. The JV was created in September 2023 with the objective to provide the best environment to develop the frozen Pizza business, creating a fully focused, stand-alone, agile and resource backed player to succeed in this competitive arena. EPG is present in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Benelux and Austria with two leading brands: Wagner and Buitoni.

Position Snapshot

• EPG Italy, Benevento Factory
• Permanent contract
• A previous experience (3/5 years) in a similar role
• Experience in Procurement is a must; experience in international purchasing will be a plus
• Negotiation and Analytical skills
• Proficient knowledge of Italian and English language is a must

• Support direct purchasing in our plant in Benevento, creating purchasing strategies for the assigned portfolio and implementing them in the business.
• Ensure successful negotiations and the smooth implementation of projects in the plant.
• Ensure the supply of our plants through regular, intensive supplier management, selecting suitable suppliers and successfully negotiating contracts.
• Implement cost-saving projects, taking into account total cost of ownership, innovation/renovation, and risk minimization.
• Maintain regular dialogue and competent communication with stakeholders on negotiations and market developments.

• Extensive and sound professional experience in an industrial company.
• Knowledge and experience in project management and the successful implementation of projects.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Dynamics & SAP.
• Work in a responsible, structured and results-oriented manner.
• Outgoing personality, able to communicate and deal with conflicts, and enjoy working in a team.
• Ability to tackle tasks independently and solve them successfully.
