ABOUT THE JOB

Traditionally the appliance industry has been all about Hardware. Today, in the eye of IoT, voice assistants and autonomous systems, Software is increasingly entering the center stage to be married with hardware for a winning product. As such, Electrolux Professional is strengthening the team with designers having previous experience from user centered design for native apps.

You will be part of a cross functional product team based in Pordenone, working with Engineering, Design and Product management to drive the digital design within our global Professional business.

ABOUT YOUR TASKS

Interaction design

1. Collect and interpret use cases from stakeholders
2. Write requirements and user stories
3. Task analysis and create user flows
4. Organize and conduct co-design workshops
5. Wireframes
6. Prototypes
7. Organize and conduct rapid prototyping and early evaluation sessions
8. Organize, conduct and analyse a usability test

Information architecture

1. Cluster information and define patterns
2. Create taxonomies
3. Create navigation flows
4. Create research models
5. Create filtering systems

Digital user interface design

1. Experience in designing product embedded digital solutions, apps and web apps
2. Knowledge of Android and iOS guidelines
3. Component based design
4. Iconography and typography
5. Data visualization

User research

1. Make a research plan
2. Qualitative research (interviews, field studies, ethnographic research, observation): Preparation, conduction, analysis, deliverables
3. Quantitative research (surveys, analytics, questionnaires): Preparation, conduction, analysis, deliverables
4. Share results

ABOUT YOU

1. Bachelor’s degree in digital UX or Interaction Design
2. Design for software and apps (preferably in IoT, Artificial intelligence, Machine learning and data visualization fields)
3. Project management skills (preferably in Agile/Scrum teams)
4. Basic front-end knowledge
5. Good verbal and written communication skills in talking and mailing but also listening to colleagues input
6. Project management skills
7. English, Italian.
8. Able to work and deliver under pressure in cross-functional teams
9. Strong technical leadership, eager to face complex projects.
