Field Service Engineer

Your future position in a few words

• Carry out preventive maintenance work on the equipment
• Diagnose and solve customer problems
• Ensure a follow-up of the service to be performed on the equipment.
• Install new parts of equipment to optimize existing machines
• Occasionally participate in the installation of automated equipment with engineering teams and international customer services in America and Asia.
• Perform tests to verify the proper functioning of equipment
• Provide technical service of automated equipment to customers
• Recommend customer maintenance plans, parts or other adjustments
• Train customers to use their equipment

Our perfect candidate would have…

• Had technical training in the field of industrial automation
• At least 5 years of experience in the industrial packaging industry
• Electro-technical skills (able to solve mechanical issues when necessary)
• A customer and service oriented mindset and is able to spot commercial opportunities
• A passion for traveling – you’re willing to travel extensively (+70%)
• In possession of driving license B and based in the surroundings of Parma, Italy
• Excellent communication skills in Italian – intermediate to advanced skills in English
