Description of the research activity:

The objective of the project is to analyze and develop low-cost small- to medium-sized reversible ORC systems for industrial low-temperature waste heat recovery applications. The planned activities, both experimental and numerical, will aim at the analysis, definition, and thermo-fluidodynamic characterization of a heat recovery system configuration, with emphasis on the variability of temperature levels and user requirements. Studies will include investigations of use in reversible configuration of the scroll machine.
