Position Snapshot

• Bachelor's degree in scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology) or chemical laboratory technician
• A previous experience in the laboratory (food industry will be a plus)
• Fluent in Italian and English

A Day in the life of a Chemistry Laboratory Analyst

• Chemical and physical analysis of food products, water, raw materials (from sample preparation to reading and interpretation of results);
• Preparation of solutions and management of laboratory materials;
• Use of benchtop equipment (pH-meter, fluorometer, titrations, NIR, and others);
• Sampling of raw materials and process intermediates;
• Perform biochemical methods (ELISA);
• Management of the Internal Control Plan (ICP), monitoring of laboratory instruments, documentation management;
• Verification and validation of chemical methods;
• Application of Good Laboratory Practices.

• Good knowledge of general and food Chemistry;
• Strong orientation towards achieving results through critical analysis of data;
• Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
