Job Description:

Our client is a fully integrated Independent Power Producer of photovoltaic Renewable Energy, present in 8 countries (Europe, Latin America) with more than 750MW fully owned in operation and under construction and 3.7 GW of secured & advanced pipeline.

In order to expand the business in Italy we are looking for a brilliant LAND ACQUISITION MANAGER - FOTOVOLTAICO.

1. Evaluate and obtain potential land suitable for greenfield photovoltaic projects in Italy.
2. Negotiate land acquisition agreements, surface right agreements, and other legal documents with landowners.
3. Conduct due diligence on potential land, including site assessments, cadastral evaluation, and permitting requirements.
4. Collaborate with various teams, including development, legal, and technical teams, to ensure smooth land acquisition processes.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents and brokers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
6. Support in identifying professionals to draft documents and boards for the permitting process.
7. Assist and monitor the progress of projects under development in collaboration with local partners.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics related to land acquisition in the solar PV sector.

Qualifications:

1. Languages: English essential – Fluency in French would be an asset.
2. Engineering degree, economics, architecture, environmental studies, or a related field.
3. Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in land acquisition and real estate negotiations, preferably in the renewable energy or solar PV sector.
4. Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
5. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, executive-level reporting, timely action and decision-making in time-pressured scenarios.
6. Willingness to travel as needed in Italy. A driver's license is a prerequisite.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
