RINA is currently recruiting for a FEM and Mechanical Design Engineer to join its office in La Spezia within the Materials & Technologies Division.
Mission
This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components to meet the rigorous demands of defense applications.
Key Accountabilities
- FEM Simulation and Design Calculations: Use COMSOL, MATLAB, and Simulink for simulations and design calculations.
- Design and prototype using 3D printing technologies.
- Create detailed designs for supports and structural elements that provide stability and resilience under various operational conditions.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Qualifications
- Expertise in 3D CAD design software, especially CREO.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and modeling, with experience in COMSOL software (preferred).
- Proficient in Matlab / Simulink.
- Understanding of materials science, with experience in 3D printing.
