Role

You will be a fundamental pillar for our Italian Sales team, being the Business Developer Representative with the responsibility of driving a recurrent and predictable inflow of opportunities and a solid Sales process. You will also work closely with Sales Executives and all the other members of the sales team, as well as the Head of Marketing to reach the overall yearly target for Italy.

Location

This is a hybrid role: the reference office is in Milan (Italy), but with a very flexible smart working policy!

As a Business Developer Representative at Kampaay, you will directly report to the Head of Marketing as well as collaborating closely with the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.

Your activities will include:

  • Manage and develop the Outbound acquisition Process together with the Marketing team to drive Sales Pipeline locally;
  • Prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and any kind of outreach activity for in-target accounts to generate opportunities for the Sales Executives;
  • Coordinate with the Sales Executives the best Customer Acquisition strategy for the quarter based on territory planning and market trends;
  • Participate in the generation of sales opportunities through other outbound channels (partnerships, trade fairs, tenders, etc.) and inbound or marketing channels;
  • Monitoring of the overall New Business pipeline in line with the business GMV targets;
  • Manage the CRM (Hubspot) and other Sales tools on a daily basis to ensure proper process execution;
  • Owning the New Business Key Metrics for outbound success (e.g. Calls, Meetings, Demos, Cost of acquisition);
  • Help the most disruptive scale-up in the event industry to conquer the Italian market!

About you

You could be our perfect Business Developer Representative if you have the following:

  • 0-1 years of experience in the Business Development area (Cold contacting, outreach);
  • Creating new sales opportunities is your biggest obsession;
  • Competence in Excel and proven quantitative skills. To make a decision you look at the numbers first;
  • You are passionate about digital innovation solutions and eager to use it to boost the event world;
  • You have profound application experience on digital solution making, and always seeking to learn more on what’s new on innovation;
  • You are willing to raise the bar 1% every day and get out of the comfort zone;
  • You love to own your objectives and get things done;
  • You are humble and know how to receive feedback and get the best out of it;
  • You are Italian mother tongue and fluent in English;
  • You like to party and you never say no to an aperitif (we understand you, we are like you too… after all, it's our job).
