Junior Site Administrative

Carlo Gavazzi Impianti is an EPC Contractor based in Italy, focused on electrical and instrumentation systems in the sectors of infrastructure, transportation, oil & gas, and energy from both traditional and renewable sources.

Position

We are currently looking for a Junior Site Administrative who will join our Administration, Financial & Control Department.

The ideal candidate will support and assist the Site Finance Manager for site Business Service activities, including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Controls, Budgeting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions. After a first training period at our Headquarter in Parma, he/she will be moved to our projects in EU and Extra EU countries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee General Accounting functions, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, GL coding review for cost classification, employee expense audits, warehouse inventory cycle counts, and asset updates (acquisitions and disposals).
• Process payroll for management and employees.
• Ensure accounting and budgeting activities comply with Corporate Policies and Procedures, including requisitions, journal entries, reconciliations, payroll verification, and inventory accuracy.
• Advise and support site management in implementing Corporate financial policies, handling internal audits, and addressing compliance issues.
• Assist in preparing the site’s annual budget, collaborating with teams to develop and maintain short- and long-term plans.
• Provide timely financial reports, analysis, and tools to support site and Business Unit objectives.
• Ensure site administration staff adherence to Corporate Policies and internal controls.
• Participate in process and system improvement initiatives across the site and company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or degree in Economics.
• Availability to relocate to our sites in Italy and abroad.

Place of work: Parma, with subsequent assignment to our construction sites in Italy.
