Job Description

We’re looking for a Mainframe Support Administrator for an onsite role in Columbia, SC. This is a nighttime position that will be onsite from 10pm – 7am. No travel is expected but there will be some weekend work from time to time.

• Monitor host systems and perform JCL and CICS troubleshooting
• Identify and resolve system performance issues using monitoring tools
• Process customer service requests including claim strips, claim copies, and claim reprocessing
• Track incidents and catalog items using ServiceNow
• Provide efficient host support and quickly learn new monitoring tools

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• 4 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming
• Experience with host application support, DB2, and IMS
• Knowledge of scripting in VBA or PowerShell, Endevor, Freeze Frame, MQ, and Splunk is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other job-related degree

The hourly rate for this position is $42.13. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
