Business Area & the role

As a Specialist, People Data & Payroll Admin you will be a member of the People Data & Payroll Administration Team in Italy within the Global People Services & Solutions community that provides administrative and payroll support for all the Electrolux locations around the Globe.

The aim of this role is to support Electrolux employees, based in 7 sites (Assago, Cerreto d’Esi, Forlì, Porcia & Pordenone, Solaro, Susegana), with all the HR related topics. People processes and People Data Platform (Workday) will be part of your daily tools and will allow you to keep track of all the sensitive information as well as data quality.

Together with your local & remote team, you will make sure we take care of our employees and that we turn employee’s life-cycle issues into solutions effectively and clearly.

You will be reporting to: Team Leader, People Data & Payroll Admin

This is a temporary position for about 12 months.

Tasks/Job responsibilities

1. Maintaining employee data in the People Data Platform (Workday)
2. Supporting People Leaders performing requests in the People Data Platform (Workday)
3. Creating employment contracts and other People (HR) documents
4. Supporting the team in a variety of activities connected with employee lifecycle
5. Securing high quality of employee data and its maintenance in all systems
6. Act as a first point of contact, answering People (HR) related queries & clarifying policies/procedures
7. Using ServiceNow as ticketing tool to manage incoming queries
8. Directing queries to an appropriate specialist or team while maintaining ownership of the cases
9. Delivering People (HR) information and transactions in an accurate and timely manner
10. Always keeping high focus on customer service and building good relations with stakeholders
11. Working closely with payroll for the completion of the Personnel Administration actions
12. Engagement in improvement initiatives & People (HR) projects and their implementation as requested

Experience and Skill Requirements

1. Fluent English and Italian
2. Strong organizational and communication skills
3. High attention to detail
4. Ability to work with confidential information
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Good knowledge of MS Office (esp. MS Word & MS Excel)
7. Previous experience in an HR/payroll department will be an asset
8. Knowledge of Italian labour legislation/metal mechanical industry national agreement is a plus
9. Experience in working on People (HR)/payroll systems (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow, XPERS) would be an asset
