IT Risk and Governance Specialist:
We are currently looking for a motivated IT Risk and Governance Specialist to join our IT team, who will specifically be responsible for:
- Measurement and optimization of KPIs across various IT contracts (telecommunications, security, infrastructure, application maintenance, etc.).
- Support the IT department by applying budgeting, licensing, and cost control practices.
- Participate in the periodic review and redefinition of policies and procedures related to IT operations.
- Draft and maintain technical and process documentation for activities shared between the IT department and internal departments (Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal) and governance committees (Risk Committee, Board of Directors, etc.); proven experience with RFP-like templates is a must.
- Provide consultancy to ensure alignment between IT and other internal control functions.
- Contribute to the company's data-driven transformation strategy by coaching and influencing internal staff.
- Provide on-the-job training to both internal ICT junior resources and external suppliers/outsourcers.
Experience, skills and best-fitting attitudes for this role:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles (supplier or end customer side).
- Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure architecture, system design, and administration (telco, network, on-prem/cloud servers, backup, disaster recovery, applications).
- Proficient know-how about Cloud Services architecture and system administration, with primary focus on Microsoft service set.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations such as Dlgs. 285/2013, GDPR, DORA, NIS2, and other Insurance/Bank/SGR-specific standards.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile), tools (Microsoft Project, DevOps, Jira) and IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
- Any certification in IT or service management will be considered a plus (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL, COBIT, SQL, PhP, Oracle, Cisco, Salesforce and cybersecurity technologies).
- Excellent standing when dealing with C-level and both internal and external customers.
- Proficient Business English is mandatory, any other foreign language is a plus.
