The role

As it continues to grow rapidly, MotorK is seeking an experienced, highly energetic and motivational Team Leader. Someone used to look for win-win opportunities with an outcome-driven mindset, experienced enough to know that for any given technical solution, the execution is a key factor for success.

We’re constantly striving to be data-driven. That means we measure everything that gives us insights we can use to continuously improve. We do that in a Lean way, using Kanban to represent our workflow while we’re using Scrum as an agile framework.

Requirements

• Previous significant hands-on experience in a Software Engineering role
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean practices such as Kanban/Kaizen
• Experienced in working in an environment that promotes a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration and Delivery
• Knowing how to motivate and lead highly performant teams
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel; experience with NodeJS and Vue.JS is a plus
• Strong Software Engineering skills, strong SW Design capabilities, fluent on practices and principles
• Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-5 engineers
• Participate in the day-to-day coding
• Providing reports and insight to management - plan and track project progress using Agile metrics and estimation
• Build relationships between technical teams and stakeholders, and increase collaboration and facilitate better communication
• Monitor our team's productivity, and drive to uphold and improve our ways of working, engineering principles, and practices
• Manage employee career and development plans for talents in your team
