Structural Engineer (m/f/d)

As SILENT-YACHTS, we introduced a new era of yachting through our solar-powered luxury catamarans. Our mission is to create an independent and environmentally friendly sailing experience that combines the silent cruising of a sailboat with the luxury of a motor yacht. For this reason, we are looking for a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (m/f/d) to join our team for an immediate entry (full time).

Your Responsibilities:

1. Development of structural drawings and calculations
2. Repair specs
3. Drawings for submission to certification bodies
4. Production support

Requirements:

You are definitely a match if you...

1. Have a degree in Marine Engineering with a focus on structural engineering
2. Have 5-7 years of experience in the industry
3. Have experience with GRP plastics (mandatory)
4. Have knowledge of CAD software (Rhino, AutoCAD, 3D parametric)
5. Have the ability to read 2D & 3D production drawings
6. Have knowledge of ISO rules for construction
7. Have knowledge of CE certification
8. Exhibit high attention to detail
9. Possess good planning and organizational skills
10. Are able to work independently and in a structured manner
11. Exhibit organizational skills, flexibility, and reliability
12. Have a creative problem-solving attitude
13. Are solution oriented
14. Have a willingness to travel
15. Have a “Hands-on” mentality
16. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian
17. Have experience with Microsoft Office (MS Teams experience is welcome)
18. Have a passion for boats/yachts in general (boating license is an advantage)
