We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead and actively participate in the day-to-day operations of our HR services team. In this role, you’ll balance strategic oversight with direct involvement in workflows, ensuring seamless service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
Be a Hands-On Leader
- Actively participate in daily operations, supporting the team in delivering services and solving challenges in real time.
- Manage and mentor team members, leading by example to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Step in to handle high-priority or complex tasks, ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Monitor and optimize workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Develop, document, and implement standardized procedures and process maps to improve service delivery.
- Set, track, and achieve KPIs for the operations team.
- Lead by example in using HR systems, managing data, and streamlining processes.
Collaborate and Communicate
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as both a manager and an operational point of contact.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and the team, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals.
Ensure Compliance and Innovation
- Stay updated on Italian labor laws and HR best practices, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, integrating tools and technologies that enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must-Haves
- 5+ years in HR operations or a similar role, including at least 2 years of hands-on management experience.
- Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with direct operational involvement.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., ATS, HRIS) and workflow management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in HR services and/or within an Employment Agency.
- Master’s degree or certifications in HR or process improvement.
