Your Challenge
As Team Leader for Project Management (Impianti) your mission will be to:
Your main activities will be:
- Lead a team of PMs working on large projects related to electrical substation, supply of MV Boards, PV Plants, HV Stations. This includes all steps from order opening, customer clarification, project planning setup, engineering and purchasing processes monitoring, construction and testing, to final installation and commissioning.
- Lead, support, control, and review the PMs team in managing project timing, costs, quality, risk identification and management, change requests and claims management. Support PMs in achieving both project targets and customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate, monitor, growth, and develop the PMs community's skills and competences.
- Support and drive project execution in compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., people and product safety, environmental protection), internal regulations (e.g., signature authorizations, project decisions and agreements with customers within Limits of Authorities) and agreed customer processes.
- Be a close partner to customers, establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and factories (MV/LV switchgears, inverters, etc.), and cooperate with all relevant internal functions involved in the projects by contributing to defining resource needs and relevant allocation.
To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:
- Proven and solid work experience in project management within the electrotechnical sector.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in electrical or electrotechnical fields or equivalent work experience.
- Available for trips to Siemens or third-party factories and construction sites whenever required, in order to lead and/or support either contracts discussion and/or checking project plan status.
- Passion to never-stop growing.
- Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
- Proficiency in English and Italian.
- Eligibility to work in Italy.
