Job Title: Driller Assistant Technician I or II
Job Summary:
The Driller’s Assistant/Technician position is to assist in ensuring drilling operations are executed in accordance with the drilling plan from implementation, completion, and abandonment of drill sites. The Technician works with the Driller/Operator and crew in preparing the equipment and site for the drilling operation, setup, and breakdown of drilling sites, which includes repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing which are done throughout the normal workday. This individual promotes safety and reports safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities. Acts as a member of a team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
• HAZWOPER, Forklift, CPR First-Aid Certifications Preferred.
• Ability to pass a yearly physical and random drug test.
• Mechanical ability to do minor repairs.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED.
