BREAK THE ICE!
Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.
We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.
Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
During the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Doping Control is responsible for performing doping controls from the opening of the Olympic villages to the closing ceremony. Anti-doping controls will be conducted both in and out of competition.
The transportation of doping control samples, staff and athletes undergoing doping control procedures plays a key role in anti-doping procedures by ensuring the smooth running of pre-analytical procedures.
The operational management of transport and logistics of doping controls must be carried out by professionals with experience in the management and organization of logistical and organizational procedures both at national and international level, with organizational management skills and specific knowledge in the field of complex organizations. These professional figures will report directly to the Head of Doping Control of the Medical Services of Milan Cortina and will have both an Advisor role for the organizational aspects of the competitive and non-competitive Venues towards the organizational structure, and operational management at central level. These professional figures will have to supervise the strategic and operational planning typical of the Games and will have an advisor role up to the Games, assuming Games Time the role of those responsible for the operational management of the logistical and transportation procedures connected to the doping samples.
