Your role and responsibilities

Smart Building Business – Energy Distribution Global Product Group is looking for a digital solution specialist who will be accountable for strategic programs to assure the long term growth and marketing of the Energy Distribution Digital and Software team, Apps and Digital offering to targeted market segments, by developing and managing it through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and Product Group strategy and targets. Your responsibilities:

1. Coordinate market intelligence analysis for different markets or segments
2. Own the technical and market specification for the software or digital solutions
3. Act as interface between external market and internal functions
4. Define new product/system plans, set technical, cost and capital expenditure targets
5. Initiate and drive product market communication strategy connected to developed projects
6. Define product customer value proposition for assigned projects
7. Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines
8. Drive innovation in software and digital offer development

Qualifications for the role

• University (bachelor/master) degree in Information Technology & Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Marketing or Business Economics
• At least 3 years relevant experience in Software Development within an international environment
• Proven success with leadership, management and coaching in international organizations
• Wide experience in engineering software tools for electrical installations
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, good communication skills
• Well networked and stress-tolerant, culturally sensitive
• Willingness to travel
