DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and Senior DevOps Engineer FREELANCE WITH VAT NUMBER (PARTITA IVA) to join our Observability Team, which is responsible for the Observability Toolset, including Infrastructure Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Real User Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, and Log Analysis.

You will manage, maintain, and enhance the Observability Toolset, building an Observability as a Service platform, whilst also supporting Business development projects.

The ideal candidate has a solid working experience on Linux Server and Cloud technology (AWS) and will implement and manage the related services and Observability tools (servers, storage, operating system, virtualization, network, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Observability Team to manage the Observability Toolset in a fully automated way
• Assist in the definition and delivery of an Observability as a Service platform
• Support teams in the use of the Observability Toolset and best practices
• Manage SLAs and KPIs
• Participate in key technical decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure documentation is first class

Essential Skills and Experience

• Good knowledge of Dynatrace
• Good knowledge of DevOps principles
• Good knowledge of Linux systems
• Knowledge of at least one other Observability tool solution (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana)
• Knowledge of AWS services and technologies
• Openness to challenges and changes, proactivity and team playing
• Fluent in writing and speaking English

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Infrastructure provisioning and configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory)
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
