Scope of the role:

To guarantee the production of technical drawings referring to the design of hot runner systems, both of the assembly and of components that make up the job orders assigned to him/her. He/she operates to manage the automation of the drawings creation to improve the efficiency of the office, implementing automation scripts to streamline repetitive design tasks. He/she creates and modifies 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards, collaborating with internal and external customers. Additionally, he/she manages the product life cycle and the revisions of the components according to the required quality standards for project traceability.

5-7 key responsibilities:

1. Produce the technical drawings on the basis of the committed orders and contact the relevant customers to allow the definition and progress of the order.
2. Develop and implement automation scripts using preferably Creo tools to optimize design processes.
3. Manage the automation of drawing creation to improve office efficiency and reduce lead time.
4. Collaborate with internal and external customers to finalize designs and obtain customer approval.
5. Ensure product life cycle management and component revisions according to quality standards for project traceability and related Bill Of Materials.
6. Work closely with engineering teams to enhance workflows and improve productivity through automation.

Education, technical and soft skills, competences requested:

1. Master’s or bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines (Mechanics or Informatics).
2. Programming competences (VB, C++, python, Java).
3. Knowledge of technical design skills.
4. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
5. Excellent knowledge of the Office package and CAD (preferably Creo).
6. Ability to work in team and to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Excellent flexibility and accuracy are required.
