In a multidisciplinary and stimulating environment, you will cover the mechanical design & configuration of compressors & radial expanders, adapt the products to the evolving market of energy transition, and succeed in their final definition.
The main development areas will be related to Gas Technology, Hydrogen Compression, Energy Storage, Waste Heat Recovery Systems, and CCUS (Carbon Capture Use and Storage).

Partner with the best

The Design Engineer will actively execute the design and development phase of new rotating equipment such as Centrifugal and Axial Compressors, Turboexpanders, and Reciprocating Compressors, with a special focus on the product development design phase.

As a Compressors & Radial Expanders Product Development Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the design, validation, and industrialization phase of new products & solutions.
  • Executing calculations, mechanical analysis, cost analysis, and drawings to technically define the machine.
  • Developing ideas and providing relevant effort in structuring conceptual roadmaps to target the goals.
  • Defining new design tools and validating new concepts and products.
  • Generating detailed technical reports and documentation of the design and testing phases.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Possess knowledge of mechanical configuration & drawings of machines and related production/assembly/testing phases.
  • Have knowledge of typical structural analyses involved in the design of a machine.
  • Demonstrate good computer skills and be familiar with CAD & FEA techniques.
  • Understand basic mechanical behaviors of materials and basic thermodynamics principles.
  • Have good verbal and written skills and be fluent in English.
