Role Summary:

Flowserve Corporation is a public, multi-national company engaged in the engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced technology fluid handling and control equipment in a variety of markets worldwide. We are looking for a Design Engineer for the preparation and execution of complete valve design, machining drawings, and calculations of Trunnion mounted ball valves for the following categories:

• Side Entry – Bolted body and welded body
• Top Entry
• Rising Stem
• Control ball valves
• Through conduit parallel Slab Gate

The person will also provide support to all the other engineering facilities along the organization for the same product families.

Activities & Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of valve assemblies and machining drawings
2. Cooperation with supervisor and engineering manager
3. Technical evaluation of standard and customer specifications
4. Execution of design deliverables in compliance with quality standards and quality system
5. Capability to analyze and review customer specifications
6. Cooperate with production and other departments in the organization
7. Cooperate with other sites for the Valbart products
8. Enterprise mindset and willingness to go above and beyond customer expectations

Minimum Requirements:

1. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or having a technical diploma in mechanical field
2. Experience 0-2 years in Ball Valve design (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
3. Good knowledge of software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Ansys
4. Experience in the same industry preferable
5. Good organizational skills
6. Ability to relate to others
7. Ability to relate to people outside the company
8. Good knowledge of English and Italian
