We're looking for a Demand Planner & Inventory Specialist to join our supply chain team.
Role purpose
As a Demand Planner, you will analyze historical demand data and provide actionable insights to optimize inventory, forecasting, and supply chain processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and marketing, to support demand planning.
As a Stock Analyst, you will analyze and interpret inventory data to help optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency. You will play a key role in monitoring inventory trends and identifying discrepancies.
Key tasks and accountabilities
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to predict customer demand.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify demand patterns, trends, and insights to support business strategies.
- Reporting: Create and deliver regular reports on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaboration: Partner with supply chain, sales, and operations teams.
- Tool Management: Utilize advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python - nice to have, Qlik, etc.) for data extraction, analysis, and visualization.
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory data to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Experience in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python - nice to have, R).
- Experience with demand planning software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
