Deckhand

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand for a 60m+ yacht.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Deck Rating / Nav Watch Rating: Candidates must hold a minimum deck rating and nav watch rating as per the industry standards. Relevant certifications and documentation are required.
2. B1/B2 Visa: A valid B1/B2 visa is essential. Due to the urgency of the upcoming departure, they cannot accommodate candidates who require visa processing at this time.
3. Experience: At least two seasons of experience in a similar role. Candidates should have proven tender driving skills and be comfortable operating a variety of tenders in different conditions.
4. Charter Experience: Previous experience working on private or charter yachts is highly desirable. Familiarity with charter protocols and high standards of service will be considered an advantage.
5. Additional Skills: Candidates with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are highly valued. Safety-conscious individuals with a strong work ethic will be given preference.
