DATA SCIENCE CONSULTANT MILAN/ROMA

Management Solutions is an international consulting firm whose core mission is to deliver business, risk, financial, organisational and process-related advisory services, targeting both functional aspects and the implementation of related technologies. We currently have a multidisciplinary team (functional, mathematical, technical and systems integration) of around 4,000 professionals.

We operate through 50 offices (22 in Europe, 23 in the Americas, 3 in Asia, 1 in Africa and 1 in Oceania) from where we regularly serve clients that operate in more than 50 countries across five major geographical areas (Europe, Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania).

Role

1. Statistical data processing (data mining)
2. Predictive modeling using machine learning and data science techniques
3. Trend modeling (time series, ARIMA models)
4. Development of simulation models (Monte Carlo)
5. Review and validation of rating and scoring, RAROC and risk-parameter models
6. Mathematical support to the business: developing algorithms, statistics and probability models
7. R&D projects

We look for candidates like you

1. Recent graduates or final year
2. Postgraduate studies students from disciplines relating to Mathematics, Statistics, especially in Econometrics, Data Science, Big Data Science, Quantitative Data, Mathematical Finance, Finance or similar.
3. Knowledge of other Mathematics, Physics… languages desirable.
4. Get-up-and-go attitude, knowledge of maturity, responsibility modeling techniques (logit, GLM, time trees, random forests, clustering) and strong work ethic.
5. Strong ability to learn statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python, Matlab) quickly.
6. Able to integrate easily and big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, etc.) into multidisciplinary teams.
7. Solid academic record.
8. Strong computer skills.
